BEAST at Red Arrow Gallery in Nashville

My gallerist Katie, at Red Arrow Gallery in Nashville let me spray paint some weird ladies on her walls and what a blast we had! Here is a little video that Ashley, gallery assistant, took of me in action last Wednesday.

The exhibition opened last Saturday, February 9th, and I got to meet some wonderful Nashville artists John Paul Kesling, Jodi Hayes and many others. A big thank you to all the great folks I got to meet that night! If you missed the opening and want to chat, there will be a panel discussion between Karen Seapker, Allison Reimus and myself at Red Arrow Gallery, Saturday, March 7 from 10:30am till around noon as part of the Artist/Mother Podcast. Be sure to stop by if you’re in the area, or check out the episode online or wherever you get your podcasts.

I’m thankful to Joe Nolan of the Nashville Scene for mentioning me kindly in his Winter Arts Preview 2020: Solo Shows in their January 23rd edition. Also, a special thank you to Nashville’s own Laura Hutson Hunter for her generous Critic’s Pick in the Nashville Scene’s February 6th edition.

Here are a couple installation shots of the show and the wall paintings: Pretty Figure 4 and Pretty Figure 5. Thanks for all the love, tacos, and hot chicken, Nashville! See you in March.
